Alphabet Mixology is a multidisciplinary project that combines calligraphy, typography, lettering, and graphic composition.
Using calligraphic pens, brushes and ruling pens on surfaces such as cotton paper, handmade sheets and kraft paper, the project explores how different materials generate unique textures and effects.
Every letter carries its own character, often blending multiple styles and tools within a single form.
The process was guided by the idea of contrast between precision and spontaneity, tradition and experiment, order and improvisation. This tension shaped the identity of each letter, making the collection as much about visual form as about the act of creation itself.
The result is a playful take on the concept of a “typeface,” reimagined as a collection of contrasts of styles!
